When I grow up, I’m going to be a fish. I’m going to live in the biggest fishbowl the world has ever seen. For lunch, I will eat big steak dinners so the sharks will know not to mess with me. My fins will be a million different colors. My fish tail will be made of lace and feathers. My chest will be transparent so everyone I come across can see my beating heart. If they are really nice to me I may even let them feel the warm little thump that pumps life through me. I will teach other fish how to smell flowers and bake bread. And I will create a secret hospital to service all wounded creatures–regardless of race, sexual preference, or species–so no one will pick on them when they are weak.
